The Snow is Coming...

Starting tonight, we are supposed to get at least a feet of snow.  I've heard perhaps even 2 feet.  Around this time of year, I start getting pretty grumbly about snow, especially this year when my oldest is in school and her school does not close for something as trivial as snow, typically.  So, I decided to take pictures and try to find the beauty in it.










Can you see what looks like a tiny little snail?

    Thank you! The coffee one is not so good, but I needed to drink something warm before venturing out. And looking at snow makes me feel cold, lol. Did you find what looks like a snail? I think it actually may be a little frozen baby snail...

    Yeah, I think I found it. Poor little one ;(
    The coffee one is good, too, but I'm biased :P Though I don't really like Wrocław as much as other cities (Kraków <3 Poznań <3 Gdańsk <3 Lublin <3). It's still nice to see anyway ;>
    Looking at snow makes me feel cold, too! Or looking at people that are poorly dressed when it's cold. I have a friend who at -5 Celcius degrees wears only light blouse and looking at him makes *me* shiver :D

    Thank you! I just have a basic $100 Sony Digital "Point & Shoot" CyberShot DSC-W190. I set it to Focus with Priority up close and I believe, I set it to Snow (for the exposure). The snowflakes here are pretty big and dry and it is below freezing for weeks at a time so I have time to get the right shot. It doesn't take super moving shots but for objects, I think it does pretty good, considering the low price I paid... :)
