Leftover Salmon for Breakfast

The other day I made Salmon with Lemon, Dill and Eggs.  It was delicious.  But we had a lot of leftovers, which I wasn't worried about.  In our house, we love protein for breakfast, not sweet processed sugar cereals.  In fact, in most Polish houses, traditionally breakfast is hearty and with protein to get you started right and going right on your day.

So, I decided to soften some Cream Cheese and mix in some leftover Salmon.  I put it between two slices of Wroclawski Chleb (a very lighty delicious rye bread from Wroclaw, by now I think you might have noticed it's one of my favorite breads) and placed some thick slices of Tomato in it and ground pepper.

Smacznego!

Where do you get "Chleb Wrocławski" :O?? I would do a lot ot be able to get bread like I used to eat when I was little, I try to bake myself but it's not the same *sigh*

Please take care :) Always think of good things if tired or sad, your children and husband, and friends and kind family members, and other things that make you happy.

I am sometimes literally saved and kept sane just by coking alone, it calms me and makes me feel like a human being, no matter if my husband is far on another job travel or if I have pains or worries. And as you wrote it in your previous post, a steaming hot cup of tea can change a lot too :) Or eating food from ones own home country, this helps me too, another reason why I started blogging. So I can always have contact with nice people from Poland, and always access to all the recipes I miss, and which make me feel good no matter in which country I am.

Btw, are you aware that you have ads for "Filipino brides" in your side bar? With "seductive scantily clad ladies" photos included? I think this is one of the more wrongly placed ads, since the majority of your visitors are likely female AND married :o) I know that ads companies can create major errors, but maybe you can drop them a word? This type of images could be disturbing and scare off some of your visitors :/

Serdecznie pozdrawiam :)

Kasiu, OMG, really?! I have to double check my google ads setting but I put it to no adult content ads! I'm already pretty upset with google ads for several reasons (1. On Alexa ranking, there are Polish jokes links coming up when you search my site, although Alexa rank & I both put in tickets telling them over a month ago that the ads were racist. Google ad keeps ignoring us & won't resolve it. 2. It takes you earning $100 to get paid out by them, which means it will take me maybe 2 years to make $$ w it, making me think it's not worth putting their ads up)... Now this? I'll get back to you on this. I might just end up dropping google ads entirely & go w a different option.

Kasiu, Ok, I figured out that the settings I had on my blog for their ads were removed and everything had been allowed. I changed it back but it will take up to 24 hours. Very dissappointing. Definitely going to look at different options... Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention.

And for making your poor computer sweat under the Chrome pressure just so you can comment on my blog! Hugs! That is so sweet!

Anyway, Chleb Wroclawski I buy at the local Polish store. Yummm...

This sandwitch looks YUMMY!!!
We've been taking with my husband about eating more fish... I love fish... He DOES NOT! so because of him I kind of stopped eating it. We both know that's healthy but he just can't stand that fishy smell of taste... So we've been looking for some fish that are not that much fishy in taste... I don't know much about fish... I just like to eat them :-)
btw, finally I went to local Polish store and I was really disappointed how little they have in there, and how expensive... but at least I was able to find a "dziurawiec" tea witch I love to drink, and couldn't find anywhere in US that is not a pill, and I bought Żurek!!! Yumm!!! Love Żurek!!!
Have a great day!
Hugs from my corner..
Anyway I wouldn't mind to try that sandwitch of yours sometime...

Hi, Ewa, thanks for stopping by! The sandwich was delicious.

Here are some fish ideas, maybe he would like:
cod, tilapia, salmon, halibut, Orange Roughy, Yellow Pickerel (aka Walleye, a lake fish), Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, Flounder... Some people say they have less of a "fish" flavor. Also, if he really thinks they smell fishy then the fish is not fresh. If it's the taste to him, you could try soaking the fish in cold milk in the fridge for 6-10 hours before cooking, sometimes that takes out the "fishy" flavor some can't stand (works great with chicken also for some reason).

Have you tried looking online for buying Polish foods? There are some great honest sites out there with decent prices. Personally, I have been known to drive over an hour to buy a good kielbasa! lol

Hugs to you as well and have a great day! Na razie...

How are you doing so far? Is the fever down? I see you are posting and cooking, at least this means you are still alive :/ I am a bit sorrowful, I know little kids and all, but this is a major emergency situation :/ If you health is ruined once it will not come back, and you will end up like me, with an incurable illness. I never took care of my health in the past, always worked until I literally broke down, and now I have to pay for that. Better take care!

I had some really harsh stuff going on the last 3 days, luckily one thing got resolved, so today I have a little time finally :)

The ads you have now seem to work well, games, multimedia and web 2.0 ads show up :) It is not easy to get good ads, that is why I do not add any, but I tried some advertising years ago. So far I have no real opinion on the subject :/ If your blog is not super super popular, like with millions of visitors, then it is tough to earn anything. But there are different ways and means in life, and giving up from the start is a wrong choice I think :)

I am writing on the post about the blog game you invited me for, but I am not sure if I can finish it today :p It is way easier to post on Twitter, this takes 2 seconds, and one post in Blogger takes up on average 30 minutes for me, but only if it does not contain a recipe. It took me 5 hours to write the post about making pralines :p

Ah, now you have really pretty and subject oriented ads showing up, L'Oreal make up, games for kids, travel to Poland :D Something worked out :D

Serdecznie pozdrawiam, please take care and rest if you can :)

Kasiu, thank you so much for stopping by and for expressing your concern. Very considerate of you. Thankfully, I am feeling much better. I upped back up my fruits and vegetables (which I start slacking on in February every single year).
I think the impacted wisdom tooth is just causing continual stress to my immune system and very soon (in a couple of weeks) I have an appointment to have them all extracted. Wish me luck, I am absolutely terrified!
I hope your health improves! Prayers being sent your way...
Yes, the ads I went through subcatagories for what I will allow and blocked quite a few which were such as gambling, internet games, weight loss, etc. Things which I didn't think would really be something I would feel comfortable suggesting to someone, so therefor I would not run the ads. I still don't feel comfortable about the fast food ads, but didn't see a subcategory to block them :( We shall see how things progress with the blog, etc.
Na razie!
